As a professional, I am an Independent Contractor with CWT Vacations, which is a division of Carlson Wagonlit Travel.  CWT Vacations is also a member of Virtuoso, which gives my clients the very best possible benefits, perks, and values.  You can count on me to stay current with the latest trends, destinations, and changes in the travel industry because I am always attending seminars and familiarization trips (“fam” trips) sponsored by vendors. I also have a valued team of experts I can rely on in the event I have not personally been to or seen the destination my clients are interested in experiencing. Things can change quickly in travel so you want someone who knows what is happening currently.
 
Any travel agent can book a trip and even save you money.  But I bring vacations to life in my clients’ minds, long before anyone has packed a bag.  My clients consider me the curator of their best memories that will last a lifetime. 
 
In the past 20 years, I  have traveled extensively in Mexico, Hawaii, Canada, the Caribbean, the U.S., New Zealand, and Australia, so I have seen and experienced the most popular destinations first-hand.  I've been an Aussie Specialist (Australian specialist) for many years, and have been to Australia four times.  Once again, I will be back there in late October, 2011, for another Corroboree - a convention of Aussie Specialists.  I've traveled extensively in Australia, and feel confident about planning day to day itineraries for clients, or matching each client with an escorted tour.  I know the tour operators well, having  traveled with them and worked with them on individual itineraries.  Australia is my passion!!!
 
Another passion is New Zealand.  I've been a Kiwi Specialist (New Zealand Specialist) for years, and traveled to that country to experience the beauty of the country and the culture of the Maoris.
